What do we do?
We promote inclusion and diversity, trying to break the existing social imbalance between sexes, gender identities, sexual orientations, functional diversities and ethnic and racial diversity.
The Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática (ETSII) is firmly committed to promoting an educational, inclusive and respectful environment for all its members.
In this context, the Innosoft Conference Equality Committee seeks to establish the necessary guidelines to ensure a safe, equitable and discrimination-free environment during the conferences organized by our institution.
The Innosoft Conference Equality Committee has drawn up an Equality Protocol with the aim of establishing the necessary rules and guidelines to ensure a safe, equitable and discrimination-free environment during the conferences organized by our institution.
We are all welcome to the conference!
- ETSII considers it essential to ensure an equitable representation of gender in all talks and activities scheduled during the conference.
- A form will be created for people with disabilities to express their needs for the conference.
Presence of minority groups in information technology
- We will conduct different quizzes such as Kahoots in which the questions will contain information about minority groups.
- Conducting surveys in high schools, the ETSII and companies with the intention of collecting information on how minority groups feel about the area of computer science.
- Creation of content on social networks with the aim of reaching more people.
Attempting to reduce discrimination in the ETSII
We will make available various measures to publicize possible discrimination in our school. Trying to give visibility to put an end to these problems.
